During our recent romantic escape to Fondavela Hotel in Monteverde, we were enveloped in nature's tranquility while enjoying the comforts of a well-appointed mountain lodge. The large, clean rooms provided stunning forest views, perfect for unwinding after a day's adventure, and the beautiful gardens offered ample opportunities for birdwatching, where we even spotted resplendent Quetzals. The attentive staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, from assisting with tours to offering fresh milk on request. This hidden gem truly caters to those of us who appreciate the balance of active exploration and serene relaxation in the heart of Costa Rica's cloud forest.
